Why own The Brass Tap?
The Brass Tap franchisees provide an upscale beer bar that brings together great friends, entertainment and a large selection of craft beers. With the exploding demand for craft beer and our easy to operate franchise, you can become a part of this exciting industry that has limited competition. Unlike restaurants, The Brass Tap does not have a kitchen and has no cooking thus reducing your startup costs and your ongoing operating requirements, making The Brass Tap an ideal business opportunity.
Is there training? Do you provide support?
The Brass Tap provides an extensive training and support program to help you every step of the way. It all starts with three weeks of training at our corporate locations for your general manager and assistant manager. This initial training occurs 30-45 days prior to your restaurant opening and teaches your key management staff what they need to run your bar. When your bar opens we also provide a trainer to assist you at your location for the first week. Training continues with your personal Franchise Business Advisor who works with you step by step on an ongoing basis.
How much money can I make?
The Federal Trade Commission regulates what The Brass Tap is allowed to disclose to potential franchisees. As you proceed through the process of purchasing The Brass Tap business, you will receive the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that details more about the business opportunity. Part of the FDD is an earnings claim that discloses to you what the revenue, beverage cost and labor costs of our affiliates has been.
How much will I need to invest?
The estimated initial investments to establish The Brass Tap franchise is from $371,200 to $654,300. This includes a franchise fee of $39,500 as well as the bar furnishings and equipment, audio/visual package, location build out, inventory, point of sale system, grand opening marketing, three month's rent, permits and working capital to open your business.
Do you offer financing?
The Brass Tap does not offer any direct financing but we can recommend some third party financing options for you. We have arrangements with equipment leasing companies with options available to individuals with good credit in most cases. If you have a retirement fund we can also recommend some great programs that allow you to borrow against your retirement fund without paying penalties or taxes.
What do I need to own The Brass Tap franchise?
- Minimum of $300,000 liquid assets with good credit
- Minimum net worth of $500,000 per location
- Knowledge of the trade area where the store will be located
- Location that meets the established criteria
